Despite the lightweight nature, the Google Go app packs quite a lot of features one of which is a personalized news feed based on your interests, search history and preferences. Since it is made for developing regions, Google Go also performs well with a slow internet connection and it is optimized to save up to 40 percent on every search result. In addition, there is also a bunch of other interesting features like voice search, GIF search, image search, read aloud for web pages or highlighted text and switching between languages. All of this addition to the features brings the file size from 5MB to 6.9MB which is still quite small. That said, Google Lens which was added to the mix with only 100KB according to Google allows you to interpret/translate writings you see by just pointing your camera at it.
