The following websites offer a bunch of different tings to any music lover. A few of them offer free, customizable radio stations to suite your specific taste, while the other two open the whole world for you, bringing all the radio stations on the planet to your fingertips. Let us count them down.

Radio Garden

It is 2019 and there are countless new radio stations broadcasting in your particular area. While these are nice to have, sometimes they are extremely geo-restricted. How many radio stations do you know that only broadcast in your city? What happens when you travel abroad for work and want to tune in to your local station? Or, say you spent some time overseas and you had a favorite station over there. Radio Garden allows you to still tune in to that station from wherever you are by simply pointing to the location on the map. Radio Garden is a transnational Radio online exhibition that allows users to explore an interactive globe filled with Radios past and present.

Jango Radio

Jango is a free online music streaming service available worldwide. … In 2007, Jango became the first music streaming platform to introduce a social networking aspect to radio stations. Users can share their playlists or listen to playlists created by others in the Jango social network.

AccuRadio

While certainly not the best-looking streaming service out there, AccuRadio offers a simple, no-frills option for listening to music. From the look of it—and the many call-outs and mentions on the site itself—this is the perfect source for listening for an older crowd while at work. Many of the office-specific playlists leaned top 40 and adult contemporary pop (think Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, and the like), so it might not be the best option for those that are big followers of the music space, but rather for those that want a steady stream of familiar hits while they are busy. Unlike fellow internet radio services like Pandora, AccuRadio does allow you to skip an unlimited number of times, though you can’t skip within tracks (so you’re just going to have to wait for that chorus). That’s a neat feature, and one that is hard to come by. Streaming is free, and there are just under 1,000 stations to choose from, so it’s unlikely that anybody will run out of choices anytime soon.

TuneIn

Another Internet Radio platform that probably doesn’t need any introduction. TuneIn is an American audio streaming service delivering live news, radio, sports, music, and podcasts to over 60 million monthly active users. As of 2019, TuneIn has more than 75 million monthly active users. The company is based in San Francisco, California Perhaps my biggest gripe with this service is the amount of geo-restriction. I meam, the app is great for tuning into any radio station you can think off but it does offer a lot more in other regions. It does have a premium version that when paired with a VPN, offers you exclusive curated stations that are way better than the live radios found on the platform.

RadioTunes

RadioTunes is a multi-channel internet radio service committed to bringing you an exceptional listening experience through music curation. Whenever, wherever, and whatever you like to listen to, RadioTunes gives you music to live by. Essentially, this service offers better curated radio stations and playlists compared to the other live radio stations. This one also offers a paid version of the service but even the basic plan is enough.
